The tone at FIN lately has been very tense.
I’m pretty sure the root of the problem is none other than Butts himself. Yesterday I saw him going toe-to-toe with Chef in the bar.
Carlos tried to intervene by distracting Chef with a personal pitcher of perfect Manhattans, but we all know that just added fuel to the proverbial holy shit storm.
I just can’t figure out what the argument was about. Maybe Georgina was right. Could this all be blamed on the full moon? Is it because it is the dead of winter?
Well, I am going on a little road trip for a couple of days – to West Virgina.
I know! What, what, what????

Once a year I like to head down there to A) go rummaging around in the seconds warehouse, where you can get an entire set of dishes for about $20.00 and mix and match all sorts of butter dishes and pitchers. And to B) go through the many awesome antique stores there that house some of the most collectible Fiesta colors and designs.
It’s my own personal Joy!
I love the City, but I swear there are moments when the bridge and tunnel crowd has worked my last nerve, and I need to get the hell outta dodge!
When I return, I hope the waters will be still again and the look of fear will have left the faces at FIN.
